You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, then be ready to read it out aloud. You will not have more than 1.5 minutes to read it.
Christmas is a well-loved holiday celebrated worldwide, with English-speaking countries celebrating it on December 25th. It's a time for gift-giving, parties, and spending time with loved ones. Preparation for Christmas usually begins in late October or early November. Shopkeepers decorate their shops with lights, as shoppers start looking for presents. This is a busy time for shops that stay open late. People who have friends and family living overseas often send cards and gifts to them. Most people get a Christmas tree for their homes and decorate them. Children enjoy Advent calendars with little windows to open each day leading up to Christmas with small presents or sweets inside.
