38.2 Imagine that you are doing a project on why some Zetlanders are not keen on visiting museums. . You have found some data on the subject – the results of a survey (see the table below). Comment on the survey data and give your opinion on the subject of the project.

Write 200–250 words. Use the following plan: – make an opening statement on the subject of the project; – select and report 2–3 facts; – make 1–2 comparisons where relevant and give your comments; – outline a problem that can arise with visiting museums and suggest a way of solving it; – conclude by giving and explaining your opinion on the importance of visiting museums.

1. According to the statistics presented the table, ability to look at the exhibitions on the internet is significantly higher than scarce variety of objects presented (10% and 7% respectively) This shows that people in Zetland value their time and do not spend excessive amount of it on the route .
2. Looking at the figures of the table, it is seen that inconvenient location is twice as popular as the ability to look the object up on the internet (20% and 10% respectively). That shows that nowadays the urbanization makes it hard to reach historically significant buildings and that may complicate the understanding of history.
3. According to the table, other hobbies as a reason not to go to the museums was almost twice as popular as inconvenient location. That shows that people in Zetland like other hobbies more than going to the museums.
